I’ve been working a 40-hour work week since April 2007. I had a mental meltdown last month so that’s good compared to the 7 months I lasted at another job (the former due to summer vacation). I’m actually looking forward to a week away from work after tomorrow, going to an indoor water park next week. (That’s not “weak” but “sweet, dude!”) After all, I had another mental meltdown today 3/4ths through my shift.
I only have 8 and a 1/2 hours of taking calls tomorrow — 9 hours if I’m held over for an extra 30 minutes due to call volume. I’m saying “hump day,” because that’s what my grandpa calls the hardest day in the work week, even though it’s tomorrow for me. (I work from Sunday to Thursday.)
